Mr. Bond wrote a review about Hollywood Park in Inglewood, CA

2025

I have invested a good portion of my time here since first walking through the doors in April of 2006, put $60. To enter the daily tourny with 112 entries, ran through the tables like a madman on a mission and bye 6 pm collected $2,100 for my winning purse, and that changed how I spent my spare time, HPC flipped the switch and I was reeled in and continue to be unable to unhook, I have had to cut the line after an <$8k 14 hour bender.
I was aware that I needed to stop, but that invisible seat belt, and a carpet path to my players bank offered me an irrational laissez-faire it's just money you can always get more approach while the others at the table would stop game play until I returned from the window with more chips and "ok he's back deal me in" as everyone took turns racking chips. That's what a soft monthly nut and belief that this can't continue to happen attitude will get you. So I took my time for setting my limits, and being aware of how some sessions are for giving reality says come back and play another time "The Tao of Poker" everybody gets the chance to bleed out, or rack n stack. Know when to toss in the towel the clouds clear and the sun shines again, there isn't any pleasure in the so apply bandaid go home pet the kitty..
