Lost the glimmer

When HP built the new facility they put a lot of emphasis on making the culture and climate match the new classy decor. What was once a comfortable place to play for everyone has once again become a neighborhood backyard home game like it used to be in the old building. There is now lots of loud smack talk and little control of the game by the dealers. I've managed to avoid many "hustle " spots where "interesting" betting happens. The venue is still decent but of all of the LA spots this feels the most like the kind of place where it's only neighborhood friends playing together against you. I'm hopeful that the management will empower and support the dealers to manage the game once the non-locals start to come in for football games this fall.
