This card room has so much potential but it's poorly managed.
Pros:
The room is beautiful and kept clean. Service is good and they will bring you any drink you like straight to the tables with minimum wait times.
Cons:
1. They do not open the room fully, even to their Covid max, when they have a long wait list. Currently they run six tables all five handed. I have seen 15 people on the list and only 4 tables open for over 3 hours. There is no excuse for this as there were 3 extra dealers waiting at on one of the tables. They need to open more tables when they have people trying to play.
2. You cannot switch tables or seats. I understand Covid is hard, but they wipe down every seat after someone leaves and it makes no difference if an existing player chooses to sit there.
3. The house allows people to buy in below the minimum buy in (a big deal), but freaks out when people are on their phone momentarily or are literally drinking a drink with their mask down (not that big of a deal). I am staunchly for masks too. The house and dealers need to chill.
4. The dealers are incredibly slow and change every 30 minutes. On average it takes 6 minutes for a dealer change because they have to count the box and every. Single. Card. It's rediculous. I have seen a dealer also recount the cards half way through the shift for no reason. Players can see the decks when you fan them, there is no reason they need to be counted. For the love of god please stop this.
5. The house can easily go to six handed without breaking Covid restrictions. This one is minor but it makes no sense why they haven't done it.
6. The house will take the big blind even if there is no action. It should be no flop, no drop, but the house takes their cut regardless.
