There are a lot of nice things about this place. When I played, staff was very nice and ran the room well. Wasn't impressed with the competition but that's just fine with me. Helps me make the money!
I was pretty happy to see a Ruth's Chris here. That's always a winner.
But two big complaints. One is the overall smoke in the casino. Man, it is bad here. The poker room is smoke-free but nothing can really save the casino from this. I'm sure these guys get griped at all the time about it. It's not the best for someone with breathing issues.
Second for the poker room - why a early $40 turbo with 12 minute blinds? Might as well not run the tourney at all. That is was too fast and made for some garbage play. Bad message to tourney players. I can't imagine there's something better going on in the room so let the players play!
Really torn on this place. Some great things and some bad things too.
