Saturday Jan 3rd was the planned day to spend playing cards at Mohegan Sun. It was busy day in the poker room due to a fight being scheduled for that evening. I don't keep on the fights so can't tell you anything about that.
The room is well lighted, tables in good shape, chairs comfortable and adjustable for height. All of the dealers were friendly and handle themselves professionally and kept the action moving. Some would talk the table up a little and help to keep things spirited. Noted a few players were interested in giving their chips away, but could not get myself into position to win them. Overall was up for the session. Played 7 hours and had fun the whole time.
My only critique is that they should move the night club away from the poker room. At 10 PM when the club gets going it gets loud.
Overall had a great time and found the competition to be a good mix of players who played solid to ones who liked to give away chips by chasing or playing middle paired cards.
Did not have any direct interaction with management, but from what was happening around me I thought the room was well run.
