Casino is medium size with lively atmosphere with LOTS of slots, table games, roulette and about 4-6 poker tables with a full sports book and highrRoller areas.
Monday-Thursday is obviously slower, but Friday-Sunday is generally PACKED with people. Great neighborhood and safe area to walk. Casino is at Felix Cuevas Station, accessible by both train and bus which literally drop you off on the corner where the casino is.
There is no poker room per se, just an area of 4-6 tables on the 2nd floor in the back. LOTS of action with most buy-ins between $3000 -$5000MXN or more (I have seen buy-ins above $20,000MXN) - which is about $200-400 USD or more. Usually games range 10/20, 15/30, 25/50, 50/100 MXN, depending on the crowd and players. Some pros, some people just killing time.
Staff speaks some English and are very professional and friendly. Service and food are pretty decent. There is valet parking.
Action is atypical Vegas style or LA card room style. No surprises.
Reason for only 4 chips and not 5? The casino is not big and it is LOUD - football games, casino sounds, overhead music are ALL full blast. It gets pretty old after 2-3 hours.
Also, lots of smokers so you go home smelling like cigarettes.
