Palace Poker Room (Insurgentes)

This poker room went from bad due to some of the most inept dealers I've ever seen... I won alot of money at this casino back when the rake was 150 pesos max no uncapped...the last time I played there I got pocket Aces doubled up and absolutely wanted to vomit when I saw rhe dealer take over 800 pesos or equivalent to about 40$ USD out of the pot.
If you're a foreigner beware dealers will try to steal your chips anyway they can miscounting bets, misreading the board you name it... The food was excellent especially the tres leches wow best cake I've ever had and I've played poker in hundreds of poker rooms... it was a moist cake made just right... beer is "free" as is the food but the rake from the pots is absolutely robbery basically... Most corrupt and poorly ran room in Mexico (and thats saying alot) also beware of being mugged and robbed by police here in Mexico City...
KINGS CASINO IS NOT ON POKER ATLAS BUT IS MUCH BETTER IN EVERY WAY THE RAKE IS THE LOWEST IVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE AT 50 PESOS MAX PER HAND...
DO YOUR WALLET A FAVOR AND DON'T PLAY POKER HERE!
If you wanted to go here and eat (especially the deserts omg that cake) I wouldn't blame you.
The dealers here don't deserve one star I'd gave given the 0 if I could.
The management deserves the 1 star rating it took over an hour and an act of congress to get them to check the cameras and finally award me the 1,500 pesos I was shorted... by the way thus was FAR from the only time they tried to rip me off right in front of me...
If you're Mexican or dark skinned you'll probably be okay... but if you're White and foreign they WILL try to rob you any chance they get.
