I spent a week here while installing our TableCaptain software system. Fortunately I had a chance to play in a couple games, and spend time with the staff. Every aspect of this property is world class...the staff, the food, the games, the structures/formats, tournament payouts, everything. If I lived nearby, I would play there every day.
The GM (Dennis) does a great job at running the property. Unlike most other properties that just do what everyone else does, Dennis chooses to do things the way he believes is the best way to do so....and I have to agree. Just one example - in must move games, players get called in order to join the main game....but they have the option to stay in the must move game or move to the main game. Of course, if everyone passes, then it becomes mandatory based on order. Great rule that I've never seen in 20+ years of playing live. He has a great philosophy of how poker rooms should be run.
Last, the action here is amazing. Very friendly players and dealers, without a lot of serious grinders. Overall, just a very home'y and friendly atmosphere.
Oh, and the food was absolutely amazing....both in that card room and in the adjacent restaurant Ernie's.
