Visited some family back east and kept hearing about how awesome Parx was. I'm a little skeptical because I've heard some of the other "racetrack" casinos in PA were a little shaky. But I have to say I was incredibly impressed.
Once you get past that the poker room is in a separate building from the other part of the casino, you'll be glad you went. The room is huge and you'll never be lacking for a game - especially on the weekends. The place is packed!
You can tell these guys have been trained well too and whoever set the room structure up knew what they were doing. The hosts were very cordial, the dealers dealt a great game and the servers did a nice job as well. The variety of games there is great too. You can pretty much find what you're looking for there. There's some good food downstairs too though you do have to step away for a while.
I can see why they're doing so well. Now I'm excited to hit some of the major events that come in there for sure!
