I walked into the Pensacola Dogtrack to play a little poker. The inside is alittle rough so i did not expect much. I walked in around 12 on a Tuesday. First thing i notice is they have about 4 tables running. 2 tables of $2/$4 limit and 2 tables of $1/$2 no limit. All tables are full so i go on the waiting list. I get into a game very quickly. The tables were decent and clean. The Highlight of the day was the dealers. They were very professional and friendly. With this being the first time i was in the room they did not make me feel out of place or like an outsider like most rooms do. This is a major plus for the room. Some of the side tables they use to put food on need to be fixed and the bathrooms look like they belong in the 70s. The level of player is amazingly low. The table that i was sitting at had 2 regs that were very solid but the rest of the table was weak. Had 1 player that said he had 38 outs because his cards were not suited. It was awesome. The Beer was ice cold. Did not try the food or have to deal with any of the management. Over all the place looks like a dogtrack that they just decided to stick some poker tables in but if you want easy players and great dealers this is the place to go.
