I come several times a week in the early evenings to play poker on 1-3 tables. The supervisory staff there is quite a sight to behold, there is about 5 that actually understand the poker game, rules and etiquette on the tables.. Chas, Kris, Bianca, Jersey and 1 other smart dressed gentlemen i do not know the name of. They are courteous, have a great command of poker knowledge and can solve any problem arising from misdeals by dealer, to arguments on table to fixing broken equipment.
Unfortunately for some reason the management decides to not have these teams in place permanently in the poker room to control gaming.
The others are embarassingly under educated on even how to play poker, nevermind the rules and how to settle disputes when gaming. It is very frustrating as a player to see these people come to the table when there is something in question.. listen to the event, then walk away to discuss it with the others and send a different person back who still doesnt have a answer to the issue. This happens every single time i am there, it slows down table play and hands dealt, it frustrates players that hear a different answer to each question nightly.
There are nights when i wait over an hour, because the front supervisor are so flustered by the crowd they cannot keep the tables full at any given time. I leave when this happens and come back on the nights that the actual poker crew can run the room in a timely fashion.
I am very frustrated and leave to play at Rama more often because of this, I would highly suggest having a set crew of supervisors that understand the game along with all scenarios that may come up be permanently stationed in the poker pit to avoid losing more customers to Rama daily, I often play with about 10 friends regularly there, and we all leave more than 50% of the time to play at Rama where the room is run to perfection even though you may wait a bit longer due to amount of people.
Pls read over all your reviews and try to optimize poker room play so that there are less issues and more enjoyment for the players.
