Terrible poker room

This is a terrible poker room. Staff are rude and dismissive. We came for super bowl weekend and witnessed several tournaments being canceled and tables that floor would not open despite there being a list (7 or 8 players deep at the time) and dealers sitting on their hands. When we were able to get into a tournament, we witnessed noticeable collusion, which seems to be the name of the game at this poker room. Definitely stay away from tournaments if that's your thing. Rules seem to be a passing consideration and not properly enforced. Cash games weren't much better. Staff, both dealers and floor supervisors, show very little control of their games and tolerate players being disrespectful towards one another. It made for an unforgettable experience for us but a bad experience nonetheless. Also, it never seemed like they could get games going and running before 2 or 3 in the afternoon, with there barely being a single game running at times. We expected super bowl weekend to be busy but it was beyond dead here for the most part. We've seen busier poker rooms on a cruise ship. Games seem to dry up as soon as they get started. The worst was when we played late one night and they sent us home. There isn't a posted time that indicates this room shuts down, so it came as a shocker. We really got the feeling that the employees either didn't want to be there or just didn't want to work. Guess Vegas or this place isn't hurting enough for our business. It's really a shame. The poker room seems nice enough, but clearly looks can be deceiving. It really seems this poker room is poorly run and completely mismanaged. That's our takeaway at least.

The rest of the casino isn't much better. Restaurants are shutdown all over the place or open seemingly at random. Can't tell if it was surge pricing, or just Vegas's ridiculous pricing, but the food and drink prices are insane in this hotel. The pit had incredibly unfriendly dealers. They all seem to have terrible attitudes. It seems the vibe from the poker room is just indicative of this whole property. The actual hotel rooms are decent but not really worth the price you pay for them and the hassle of getting to this place. The shops weren't anything special either, with several being shutdown or boarded up.

Honestly, we won't be coming back to this property or poker room. Definitely not a recommended poker room when there are better ones in Las Vegas from our experience.
