Spent July 3rd at the casino. Started the day with the 12:15 pm tournament. Had 59 runners and I happen to finish short in 12th. I found the structure of the tournament to be just fine with 10,000 in starting chips (this includes the $5 dealer appreciation for 2M in chips) and 20 minute blind levels. The floor and dealers were all professional and kept the pace of the game moving along.
Afterward I spent the next 5 1/2 hours playing 1/2 NL cash. Again the dealers were efficient and there were plenty of regs at the table. One nice thing is that when they swept your players card and you would tip after winning the pot they would thank you by name. Which I found a nice touch.
The room had 2/3rds of the tables going by 8pm in the evening and I found the people at the table I was playing serious, but friendly.
The room itself was in great shape. The bathrooms located just of the tournament area were clean and the poker room being non-smoking was comfortable.
If I found myself back in Pittsburgh I would absolutely visit this room again.
