I've played here a few times, mornings, since they opened last month. Friendly dealers, a pretty soft 1-3 game. I live about an hour away, and I arrive around 930 to check in before the room opens at 10:00, and just play for a couple hours. Some observations: the poker room cage opens around 10 as well, and you have to buy chips there because the main casino cage doesn't sell chips. So even for new games, you need to line up for the cage - chips are not brought to the table. My guess is this is due to staff shortages. Also, I like to sit in seat 1, and there you definitely need a card protector. In all other rooms I've played in, like 40 or so in different parts of the world, I always use a chip from a different casino, distinctive from those in the casino from which I'm playing. Here, though, it has been determined that this is too confusing to the other players, so in the 1-3 game, where the most common chips are white, blue, red, and green, a yellow chip (Foxwoods $2), is not allowed on the table. Little things, but they are different from most rooms I've played in.
