I had never played in the Riviera poker room before. It is a smallish space but very comfortable. The tables and chairs were very good. Mark, the manager, went waaay out of his way to accommodate our group of about 18 players. It was like playing in a home game on the Las Vegas Strip. Tons o' fun!
I was taking part in a private tournament and then afterwards played some mixed games with my friends and some other players. I infrequently play HORSE and therefore knew several of the others playing were probably more proficient than me.
I saw no dealer errors in the tournament or the cash HORSE games. I do not remember any of the dealers saying much. They were polite.
I did not order any drinks but from what I could see there were no problems in this area.
Mark is the best! Everything about our tournament went smoothly. He did a great job in communicating before the tournament, made us feel welcomed during it, and provided a table for mixed games afterwards.
Players who wished to stary at the Riviera were offered excellent poker room rates. I like playing in rooms that offer high hand jackpots, and the Riviera has a whole board of these.
