My biggest nit with this place? TV placement. Yep. Friggin TVs don't ever seem to be in an easy to see place. Other than that small issue - solid room! Great area out back to have a drink and a smoke; food is very solid! And when you're sitting there a while, that's nice! Very friendly atmosphere! (There's always *that* or 2). 100% San Antonio has the BEST card rooms around. Great card room!
Mostly dealers - with only minor exceptions - have been *great*!! Very professional. Here to help players and the play and not be the center of the play.
The tournaments have all been well run! Want to try their larger 2-day MTT this month!
Anyway, if ya live in the area, or if you're doing your own version of Texas Dolly's legendary "Texas Circuit" be sure to add a stop at SA Card House!
