Very sad to hear the news, spent a month in Vegas in March 2024, Sahara had the best game, the best structure (uncapped 1/3 at the time), the lowest rake, the best vibe, great cocktail service, literally game stopping scenery when the magic mike show ended, the best location to keep the masses of tight Vegas regs away. Floor (maybe Joe?) was great and personable, same with the dealers. Beautiful felt, beautiful chips, wall of TVs was the best place to watch sports at any poker table in Vegas. And the chairs, I've slept in beds less comfortable than those chairs. I get that it can't stay open with 0-1 games running each night, but it's sad. Sahara is one of the freshest high end but not pretentious feeling casinos in Vegas. Lovely place to enjoy ur time. Maybe it's the location from the main part of the strip, but that walk seemed pretty safe even at 4am. I get it, but maybe running promos would have helped, who knows. RIP. Good memories. Maybe they try again one day.
