This is one of the best poker rooms in Vegas with extremely professional dealers, great furnishings and easy access to sign in online.
The only drawback is that there are not many tables open during the week, which is why I am writing this.
Parking is free with the rewards card and the parking garage is clean with easy ingress/egress.
The property is beautifully kept and is clean and well lit with upscale appointments. Unlike many other properties the clientele are well mannered and behave appropriately. I have never felt unsafe or smelled pot smoke.
The poker room itself is located down a secluded hall with easy access to restrooms and a water fountain where it is easy to fill your own bottle. It has its own cashier cage and easy access to a gift shop and wine slush/snacks store. It also has free access to soda, ice water and an automatic espresso machine.
The food may be a drawback for some as well. The attempt was to offer eclectic offerings from around the world and most people do like that but I prefer known name brands for fast food. I know people who love the plant based Italian restaurant. I've tried the Mexican and it was great but over priced. Also the upscale Asian place irritated me because they didn't allow baseball caps, which is fine, but they let a large family of unruly children act like it was a fun house at the table next to us. You can order food at the poker table and I have done that a few times and was disappointed.
I play all over town several nights every week and if I were to change anything it would be the following: 1. $2 comp per hour 2. The music from the casino or restaurant "Dawg House" is very loud and can be disruptive 3. well known eateries such as a burger place or fried chicken with salads would be great 4. Cash Massage chairs (most poker players need a massage but don't want someone touching them) 5. Forget the whole "female model" cocktail servers. This is gross and weird in the modern age (although I love being able to get my own drink in the corner but wish there were a caffeine and sugar free option besides water)
Overall, like I said, this room is great and deserves to be busy every night of the week. As the area continues to improve (Fontainebleau, Ahern and the beautifully renovated Sahara Casino as well as the popular concert venue have raised the bar recently on the North end of the strip so its just a matter of time before this poker room is on par with Wynn and Aria as a staple for regs and visitors alike.
