The room isn't bad overall, with one huge exception. The poker area is fine, and the dealers seem competent. I didn't see any auto shufflers, so the games are a bit slow. But, my biggest issue is the outrageous rake in their cash AND tournament games. I believe the first time I played over the summer the rake was capped at $4. Now, in 1/3 NL, they are raking 10% up to $7! They've almost doubled their rake. This isn't including the $2 they take out for promos. $9 coming out of a $70 pot is horrendously bad for the game, and I hope it doesn't cause the game to dry up eventually.
The tournament that was running that night was also raked for almost 25% of the entry fee. This is ludicrously high.
I was traveling here occasionally to play, but from now on I'll travel a little farther to rooms with a decent rake.
