This is a review of a brand new poker club from a long time poker player, and I will give a second review around a year from now when I know more, but I have great expectations for this club.
This club is started and run by another poker player who has put a lot of effort into making this club as player focused in its design as possible.
The chairs are very comfortable and this is very important for a sedentary hobby such as poker. The dealers are quick at dealing (more hands dealt per hour), professional, and make the game fun. The time rake is the best deal for players in the area. Like any social club, soft drinks are free and there's snacks on offer. If management can strike a deal with restaurants in the plaza to offer discounts to players, this would be the perfect place to play.
I'm primarily a cash game player and the cash games have great action, but the variety of tournament structures and formats allows for deepstacked poker that is extremely fun.
Overall, five stars as I think this club has great potential to be the best poker room in the area and I have great expectations. Management being very player friendly focused is what will set this club apart from the rest. I will update my review in a year or so.
