TCH Las Colinas used to be the best poker room in Dallas but they've done their best to drive away all the high stakes action due to many very poor managerial decisions.
Starting small games takes priority over big games because everyone pays the same amount for time. This is mostly a racketeering scheme designed to force regs to tip floor people $200+ to start a game.
Their bizarre house rules allow so much angle shooting, borderline outright cheating that the games are almost unplayable.
The locals have had meetings with all the floor people and the managers and they just don't seem to get it.
Their restaurant used to be great but they've sold out to shrinkflation. The chicken/shrimp/beef skewers used to be enough for a meal. Now they're slightly larger than my index finger.
$12 shrimp (2x) + $4 chicken + $8 eggs (4x) + $5 server tip + $5 food runner tip + $3 local tax = $37
The Vegas strip might actually have better prices.
They also have some of the dirtiest silverware I've seen in a licensed restaurant. I usually ask the server for plastic silverware but now they stopped offering it so I have to bring my own.
Overall, I'm really disappointed in the way the TCH franchise has decided to do business.
