I made a stop at Ace of Spades on my biz trip and this was another surprisingly good room.
People told me this was one of the better rooms and had really stepped up its game recently and I enjoyed it. Mix of players was pretty good and overall were very friendly. A lot of times when you go to a room like this, players look at you like you have a third eye but I was happy to say this wasn't the case.
The interior is great and well-maintained. Plenty of TV's and well-lit.
Staff did a nice job keeping things in check too. One guy did get a little out of hand and they quickly shut it down so kudos to them for being decisive and keeping things orderly.
Tourneys were ok - nothing spectacular but very solid and fun.
It's another very good room in Portland and I'd recommend coming in.
