I love playing poker and every time I want to play I come to The Royal. Everyone is friendly dealers, managers. I always feel like they treat everyone the same. They make everyone feel welcome and I always have fun it doesn't matter if I win or lose. The owner is always there and he is a very humble person with integrity. This card club is well kept, well run and I appreciate the patience and attentiveness they give. The action is good, and always have security. They sanitize their chips and cards and always wipe down areas and provide sanitizer to all of us. They also have a snack bar which is pretty cool. I've never seen the owner treat anyone badly or unfairly. If you're looking for a card club, I recommend The Royal Card House for sure. Their rates are the lowest in San Antonio - $8 an hour where other places charge $12. I'm glad I found the Royal because I never feel uncomfortable. Everyone is treated equally here.
