The room is clean, the chairs are comfy, and although the new location is a longer walk from the parking garage, it's closer to the traffic in the casino. The only downside is that the tables inside of the room are laid out in a strange configuration.
Competition teeters between somewhat tough and easy. Typically, the room would be filled with tourists and the competition would be on the easy side. But the good promotions have brought out some of locals in town and I have found that some of the games have had 4 or 5 good players. Weekends are still best if you are looking for loose action.
I have found all of the dealers to be experienced and fun to have at the table.
I am basing my rating solely on proximity. There always seemed to be a cocktail waitress in the room. I can't comment on drink quality because I typically order drinks served in a bottle.
The promotions alone earn this room a 5. Even the tournaments (with a guarantee) are a good draw. All of the floor people have been friendly during my interactions with them. They have also proved knowledgeable during decisions to be made on the games.
$2 an hour beats Caesars properties. Add that to the promotion for the number of hours you play and this room has the best comps in town.
