Steer clear of the Venetian. As a pro poker player that lives in Vegas, I can tell you with absolute certainty this is the worst place to spend your money. They provide less than half as much comp for your gamble as every other casino on the strip. The floor people are a joke and have clearly never played a hand of poker in their life... They will blindly enforce protocol without gathering any information about the specific situation, possibly costing you hundreds or thousands to potential angle shooters. I've seen the floor ban solid regulars in favor of a drunk tourist with a personal problem. Bar none the most unprofessional poker room I've ever visited. Do not let overlord Adelson rake your pots. Poker room could be the biggest/best in Vegas if not for the complete inept/remedial floor men who aren't even qualified to suck their mothers teet.
