It's hard to argue with the atmosphere, the newness, the comfortable chairs, the Wynn attentiveness.
I play No Limit and I like the Wynn's diversity of No Limit cash games. The competition seems to be a fair mix of semi-regular locals and higher end tourists (well-dressed, anyway). The no-limit-buy-in means that, yeah, you might be mighting a bigger stack than you'd see at a limited buy-in No Limit game with 1 and 2 dollar blinds, but that doesn't mean they're better players. Maybe they won their stack or maybe they bought in for a grand.
Solid and professional. It's hard to rate anyone's dealers as excellent these days because almost every casino, even the "higher end" ones, have a few relative newbies around.
They have orange julius, which is nice. Bellagio is known for their strawberry. They have cool glasses here as well. I don't drink alcohol while I play, but the mixed drinks look nice at least, though I hear they are as weak as most poker room cocktails. As always, go for the bottled beer if you want some kick in your drinks.
Still a little choppy and sloppy on the weekends when the room gets full. The overheard board is well-managed, but sometimes there are communications mix-ups between the guy at the desk and another employee who is actually seating you. Just stick to your guns and make sure you get the table and seat you want.
I don't go for the comps but the card-in, card-out thing seems to work fine.
