Excellent furnishings and decor in an elegant hotel. Restroom nearby. Tableside food service.
Mostly experienced players, you may need to play back at them to show you're not a fish. Found my profit in inexperienced players trying out the game and in tilted overnight players.
Treated players very well and handled situations well.
Always prompt.
The tounament director was very organized and professional. In one tourney hand, 2 players got to river, one showed, the other mucked his cards so they were toiuching muck, then realized he had also rivered a straight to chop the pot. When he realized it, we all said "but it hit the muck, it's dead". The TD was promptly called for a decision. He asked if the cards were easily discernible, which they were. He then ruled that the hand was live and said "we are not in the business of killing hands, we are in the business of awarding pots". At first I thought this was a strange ruling, but looking back on it, I think it was an honorable and fair way to handle the situation. The whole staff appear to be of much higher quality than other rooms.
No jackpot but also no drop for it. As I mentioned in my trip report, chasing promos is out of the mix for me in future trips and prefer not to pay for or chase them. You will need to ask the room for a slip to redeem comps. I forgot to get one when going to the buffet so I left some money on the table for Aria comps.
