i like the look of the room (and the whole casino) a lot. Tables are in good shape, and though there are a lot of tables and people, you can still move around well. The chairs are the only minus to the room. I applaud the idea of the chairs that can lean back, and adjustable heights, but there must've been a lot of BIG people in them before me, b/c I went through four before I found one that wasn't as loose as, well, the "dancers" on the billboard trucks.
Tableside food from 'Lemongrass' was also excellent.
Good, but not super-tough field. I played a straight TAG game and finished on the bubble.
Everyone was very professional. A little less friendly than I prefer, but the whole room does take things quite seriously.
Very regular service, good pours, very good looking.
Tournament was run extremely professionally, though, as above, a bit too seriously. Their "no phones with cards in play" rule was strictly enforced on another player who simply glanced at his phone when it beeped. His cards (he says "AA") were insta-mucked.
Tourney, so no comps expected.
