I went to Coushatta to see what my poker pals eye talking about. I just played at Gotten Nugget earlier and figured the drive was worth it. The tournament starts at 6:30 pm, I arrive at the buy in take early only to find out I need a Coushatta card to play. I get the card but when I go back, it was after the tourney started and now I am on wait list at number four on a limit of 30 players. So I wait and nobody is busting out on the first three levels. Then when the players go, manager calls up players but does not call out my name. That is because the tournament director decides that in seeing my name he calls out another name and assumes it is someone else. Ten minutes go by before I realize he is calling for me.
At the table you can see why no one busts out. Pace is relatively slow and you have to get the best of it to stay in. Needless to say I did not last long, especially shortstacked.
It may be good to go but be sure to get signed up before they reach 30 players.
