Pros: The venue itself is clean, has security and friendly staff. The 30k promos are good to get players in the door. Free drinks and food that is hit or miss.
Cons: $20 membership fee, the $10+2 model is a bit high but acceptable given the promos being given out. HOWEVER, the dealers are pretty terrible and don't pull the correct amount of "time chips". They definitely don't calculate 10% as they sometimes lazily round up way too much. The yellow chips are supposed to be substituted with 1s but one dealer did it with 5s. That added up to $20 "time chips" being taken instead of $12.
The dealers don't rail and make it obvious how much they are pulling but rather try to use fast hands, pretend to make change, at times they feel players are paying more attention to other things.
I play everywhere and understand there is the pay hourly seat rental model and the model where time chips are taken from the pot but in the latter it should be VERY CLEAR. Don't use fast hands and look suspicious. I don't want to feel like I'm at an underground game where I have to keep track of the count of the pots.
They're having a 30k promotion this weekend again but highly doubt I'll return despite having won one of the $500 hands.
Lastly, some of the dealers' pitch is terrible and cards flashed a bit because not low enough. There were times we had to tell dealers who won. Please find better dealers.
