Enough players to merit the room?

It's right off the Boulder Highway side entrance across from the not-bad sports book. Has auto shufflers at some tables and so far everything is new and clean and tidy. I was there on a Friday night 6-9pm and there were only two tables, one 1-2 NL and one low-limit hold'em, then Saturday night, at 11pm-2am or so, which should be prime poker hours, and the only table going was 2-7 7-card stud. I know the room is new but these are weekend evenings. Maybe it's the kind of locals room that will actually have more business during 'off hours', like Tuesday afternoons or so, but with Sam's Town and Boulder Station so nearby, I don't know exactly what kind of poker clientele this room is gonna bring in.

Locals and nits the sessions I played. Unless someone's staying there I wouldn't count on the tourist money you see on the Strip or the loose locals you get at other Boulder Highway poker rooms.

Commanded the game effectively, explained rules, were patient but kept the game moving.

Quick, young and good looking.

They made me a card while I waited and negotiated a few disputes with ease. Professional people, knew their stuff.

It's a dollar and hour but overnights and mornings it's doubled to two bucks an hour. Not bad. Word is high hands or a bad beat is one its way. They already have the second slot in the tables.
