Every Poker Room in New Hampshire and Connecticut offers 1/2 No Limit Hold'em. Encore did 1/3 Hold'em. For the casual player, that's a 50% increase on the big blind which also means the flops are going to be $15 minimum preflop as opposed to $7-$10 in New Hampshire. The recreational player should go up to Chasers and have some fun and play poker. The grinders should go to Foxwoods where they appreciate their customers. Both options are far superior to Encore. What kind of casino does not like to play poker on Saturday and Sunday and tells you you have to leave at 8 p.m. on a weeknight. It's a @#$% sin. PS it is also incredibly loud with all the music they play and it seems like they were trying to give a Studio 54 Vibe as opposed to a casino.
