After playing in one of the daily tournaments with rebuys and add-ons, I was extremely disappointed that the supervisor failed to count the proper number of rebuys and add-on's to add to the prize pool. As there were only 2 tables (16 entries), it was fairly easy to count the number of re-buys and add-one. Our table had 10 rebuys.... the other table had 3... for a total of 13. The board ( and prize pool) only showed 8. Concerning add-ons, our table had 4, the other table had 7 ( for a total of 11), yet the board (and prize pool) only showed 10. As a result, the prize pool was shorted by 6...times $40 each... for a total of $240. This is the second time that I have observed this with the same female supervisor overseeing the tournament. Of note, I have not seen any shortfalls with other people supervising the tournament. When the lady was challenged about the numbers, she became extremely indignant. The GM was made aware of the situation, but no action was taken. This observation was made by several people at the table, ( not by me alone), and is not acceptable. I plan to get the word out concerning the shortfall of the prize pool, and the ineffective way that it was handled.
Extremely disappointing !!
