I just returned from three days at the Golden Nugget. I played in five tournaments while I was there. They seem to attract a lot of regulars, most of whom are very pleasant to meet and play with. The room has an intimate feel and a fairly elegant look, although it is small. I think there are ten tables, most of which seem to be used for tournament play. I saw periods when they were spreading one or two cash games, mostly 1/3, I think. There were other times when there wasn't a cash game going at all.
I am visually impaired, and the management and dealers, along with the other players, were very pleasant and helpful in working with me to seat me in the best possible situation.
I enjoyed my time there and plan to return soon.
