The tables were in good condition. I thought the room was a little dark, and there was a fair amount of noise from nearby traffic.
I played at the $1/$2 no-limit game. While there some good players, there were always at least three players who probably didn't belong there. Because the Nugget's no-limit game doesn't have a cap on the buy-in, it can be very profitable if you get a weak player who buys in for over $500.
Most of the dealers I had were reasonably efficient, but they didn't have much personality. A couple of dealers had problems keeping the game moving.
The drink service was excellent. The waitresses came by regularly, and drinks always showed up quickly.
Empty seats were filled quickly. The floor people were friendly and worked hard to keep things moving.
Other than drinks, I didn't take advantage of any comps.
