This hotel surprised me overall, with quality styling equivalent to many mid-range Strip hotels. Might be worth a stay if you can get a good room rate. Poker room itself is nice, has a friendly vibe. This room is certainly worth a session of play if you find yourself downtown.
Good combination of locals and tourists. Fairly typical Vegas poker room crowd.
Dealers were competent and friendly, did a nice job managing a pretty loose and drunk set of players.
Poker room is near a bar, so service is fairly fast and regular.
Management was friendly, did a nice job getting me seated quickly, seemed to handle a tourney well. Incidentally, the room advertises that it will set up private tourneys, a nice touch if traveling with a group of friends.
Nothing was posted, but several locals seemed to have cards to track comps. Not sure about HHJs, poker room rates, etc. Basically, management might think about posting more information about comps, or at least mention them to new players.
