The room is right in the middle of the casino which means that there are a lot of distractions around. On the plus side, you're right next to the snack shop. On the negatives, you constantly hear the slot machines and during my session the dealer had to ask a player who had folded to get up and pull a ticket out a slot machine that was beeping constantly. The room itself is well lit and clean.
I played in one of the daytime tournaments and I'd say the competition was fairly tough in that one. People seemed to know how to play.
I also played in the 4/8 when they spread it which was not often. When the game was full ring, it seemed very beatable and easy. It wasn't very stable though and would often drop down to 4 or 5 handed with all tough players remaining.
Dealers were pretty good. No autoshufflers but they still manage to keep the game going. I didn't see any dealer errors during my sessions. Steve was my favorite dealer.
Fast service.
Overall, I like the room managers. It's unfortunate that they can't sustain the games that I like to play.
After 3 hours of play I was able to get a $10 lunch ticket which was good for the buffet or the snack shop. I opted for the Philly Cheesesteak and fries at the snack shop and found it to be a satisfying meal.
