Nicy, cozy room with comfortable chairs, plush felt, and good lighting. The tables are packed a little close together, so I can imagine it can get crowded in there. Overall, a classy little room. To me, it felt similar to Monte Carlo (though in better condition) and TI.
I played 2-4 limit (or was it 3-6?). The whole table seemed like tourists ranging from bad to worse. There was one chronic bluffer, one textbook calling station, and a bunch of weak/tight/passive. I finished +$50 over 3 hours without breaking a sweat.
Solid, efficient, professional. They mostly seemed to concentrate on dealing the game, but would join in the conversation from time to time.
Waitress was older and a bit surly. Either it was the end of a long shift, or the end of a long life of slinging drinks for $1 chips to tourists. Still, she seemed to work the room OK.
I thought the manager was really on the ball. He got me seated with chips right away, and always seemed to be handling 2-3 things at once. He was quick to fill open seats and kept track of players wanting to switch games/tables. Was really clear and concise spelling out rules for the tourney across the room. I went out of my way to compliment him and his staff on my way out. I'll be back.
Can't say. Didn't ask.
