The last time I played here will be my last. The game was progressing fine enough until we needed a floor ruling. Two floor guys cane over and attempted to sort out whether or not the straddle player had an option to raise.
Basically the entire point of the straddle is to create a bigger blind and increase action. This was new to the floor as he initially said there was no option, then after some complaints changed his mind. Action restarted and the straddler went all-in.
The floor changed his mind 2 more times as somehow the raise was too much in 1-2 NL Holdem.
Perhaps have people attend a dealer school prior to accepting a job as a floor.
I can't think of a worse way to run a poker room. Even wrong rulings are better than multiple rulings that change due to the level of complaining.
