Made a road trip to Cincy to play in the Labor Day deep stack tourney series. Came in Saturday to play the $25 Guarantee on Sunday. Tournament had good structure and plenty of play for the buy in.
I play many tourneys like this and usually have to travel some because my home base has only one casino two hours away and they only run a couple of good tourney events per year.
Here is my beef. You can't register the night before like every other tourney event I have played. This is extremely bad in this situation because you are staying off site.
I'm hoping there poker room management reads this just a little thing but you are going to get bigger fields by doing this. Also you are going to get your non-locals a better feel for the area and they will most likely play more cash the night before.
Not sure why you don't do this but you should. Why do you only allow registration 2 hours before?
