If your gonna allow a 6$ straddle in the 1/3 I think you need to raise the Max buy in to 500-600 and match the highest stack. 300 max buy in with a 9$ rake is BRUTAL, most poker players would laugh and think you were joking. Bigger max buy in = bigger action and bigger tips for dealers, there's literally no negative to raising it (especially when a 2/5 isn't probably gonna be running during the weeknights). I feel bad for the dealers when I can only tip them so much because I'm being raped, I mean raked for $9. They also don't have the high hand promotion going yet (hopefully coming soon) but you can't take $7 rake and $2 for promotion ($9 total) and not have a promotion. Also the room closes at 2am on the weekdays, 1 full table was running and the manager was trying to shut it down 15 till 2am, luckily the dealer spoke up and said, "at 15 till." I mean the room closes early enough you can't shut a full table down earlier that early. Besides the rake the room is SUPER nice and the dealers are friendly but new, they will only learn and get better though. Hopefully the action continues to pick up because it's a great looking room.
