Played for 7 hours at 1/3 on a Sat and ended with a nice hourly.
The room ended up with 6 tables going (5 of 1/3 and a single 2/5 table). The rake structure is the exact same as Cherokee (10% up to $7 max rake). There's also a $2 jackpot drop. This is not likely to change unless/until a competitor opens relatively close.
A bad beat jackpot (quad Kings beat) and an hourly $100 splash pot promotion were both running. Sounds like they'll add more promos as the promo fund pool increases.
I Saw 7-8 dealers in 7 hours. Most were ok, one was very inexperienced and slow. Lack of shuffling machines also decreases the amount of hands per hour.
The wait list always had names, so play did not get short, there were always replacements when someone busted or picked up.
Nice room, decent action, and friendly staff that should get more efficient with more experience. I'll be back.
