The Room had really made some great, positive progress since first going live now many years ago. They took control back from the Regs, hired Floors who actually know poker, added food delivery, added promos and did a good job attracting competent dealers. Now the room seems to have slidden backwards on pretty much everything. Regs flout the rules and only some of the dealers bother to try to stop it. When floor called they give the Regs a love tap on the wrist. Food delivery is gone and seems like food is actually prohibited. They collect a rake for promotions but the last 5 times I’ve been there none were active (my bad for going 5 times). Still some excellent dealers, but too many who seem to have no idea and afraid to rock the boat by actually enforcing normal rules of poker, especially when a Reg is in the hand. Oh, and they don’t open until 10:00 am, even during the WSOP when plenty of players would have been playing cash prior to tournaments starting. All of this is unfortunate as their new space is excellent with great access to the sports book next door. Not sure if this downside is due to incompetent, complacent or just apathetic management. Until and unless there is real competition they just don’t seem to care.
