Was driving through the area and had a stop in Harrisburg so I figured I'd check it out. Not sure if I was glad I did or not.
The room is way back in the casino. As popular as I've heard poker is here, it sure seemed like they went out of the way to hide this room. It's not a lot of tables and the tourney action was pretty light.
The staff was nice enough but it's just hard to really paint a picture about the action. Not enough players and to be frank these guys think they know everything. Pretty snooty and arrogant overall. And really they aren't that good.
Some ok food choices but overpriced. I guess it's the racetrack mentality since there are horse races here but you gotta cut the poker players a little bit of a break.
Maybe I was just disappointed how everyone acted and got a bad impression but I doubt I'd go back. Plus with all the hot games in MD only an hour and a half and Parx two hours away from here it's hard to imagine how this poker room is going to succeed.
