Table was very worn, the vinyl edges were splitting. Smoking was on the rail 2 feet from tables. Only 3 tables although we only needed 1.
The only people playing here are people staying here. The Competition Rating is incomplete, as it is not just about other players, you are competing against the rake (see below). If you take into account the rake then I would say "1 - Very tough".
One dealer and one manager. The dealer took off so the manager took over. I'm guessing every one else quit on August 1, 2011 when the casino filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
Free drinks from a pretty and friendly Hooter's girl (although no bow tie :( ). Prompt. Red Bull & Vodka was actually Rockstar & Vodka.
Management? Hooters Casino is bankrupt - Chapter 11. I bought my chips and they said find your own seat. But the worst part was that they were taking an extra dollar. The max rake was $5 and it seemed to occur even on low pots. Our table asked what was this for? The dealer/manager explained: When Hooter's Casino filed Chapter 11, the poker room was immediately instructed to stop all high hand, bad beat, etc. jackpots. Instead the extra $1 was to go to a bonus where if you play 20 hours Monday-Friday - they would give you $100. BUT WE were PLAYING on Sunday so there was no way this dollar could benefit us!!!!! There was a $5 rake! After playing awhile I look around and THERE ARE NO BIG STACKS! The only big stack is the rake! And I never saw anywhere the $100 for 20 hours weekday play alleged "promotion". If they are doing this in the poker room how are they affecting the odds on slots/table games????
You are forced to pay for other people's comps, and they will probably never get them.
