how can u take $220,000 in admin fees out of a prize pool and only pay 1st place $166,000...?? and don't say 16% is a standard 1st place pay out, that is BS... make ur min cash smaller and pay less of the field.. it's sad to see 1st place get screwed when the house is making so much money!!!

Hi 18, I'm sorry to see you aren't happy with how The Lodge does tournament payouts.
Despite your demand to not say 16% is a standard first place payout, I'm still going to go ahead and say that because it's a fact. You might see ~20% in some smaller field tournaments, but almost every large field opts to pay the winner around 12-17%.
I quickly looked up the prize pools/payouts for 3 large-field tournaments, all of which took place in the last 6 months -- take a look:
WPT Lucky Hearts Open - 6.3M prize pool, 975K to the winner (15.4%)
WSOP Main Event - 62M prize pool, 8M to the winner (12.9%)
MSPT Venetian - 991K prize pool, 168K to the winner (16.9%)The payout for the Monthly Monster (15.1%) is right in the middle of the pack.
