I have played the last two days and while the welcoming atmosphere remains the same, I am seeing big improvements across the board as new leadership begins training staff and putting professional standards in place. Rounders wasn't bad but there was a very casual aspect to it. I am seeing improved communication with staff, improved service standards, and consistent rule enforcement. The presentation of food alone has markedly improved- my carrot cake yesterday (to go) was very professionally presented with a caramel drizzle I had never seen. It's little touches bit exciting nonetheless. I am excited to see poker professionally elevated in SATX to a whole new level. Card clubs in TX can still be social with professional standards. My hat is off to Doug Polk and his team for all their hard work this week. Keep it up! 💯
