This place is ok. It's not over the moon, but it's not a dump either. Valet is free and on the weekends, it's needed. The room itself is dated and older, but we all know were there for the action, not the carpets and decor.
The players here are hard to describe. Most have no idea what's going on, which makes it difficult to play. On the 1-1-2 game, people are playing like it's WSOP and they are at the final table. More often then not, not a lot of action, but a lot of hollywooding. Tossing chips 8' high when it's a $4 call. Helicoptering their cards, because they practiced at home and need to show it off.
Once you get to 3-5 or 5-10, the action is much better. Some are just shoving for the sake of shoving, but most are playing a pretty good game.
Overall, to me it's a 3 of 5. It's not great, but it's not bad either. No free soda, water, etc. Food is ok.
