There are many players who are disillusioned by Horseshoe and the seemingly never-ending policy and promo changes that keep getting less and less friendly. Plenty of people would say "Yeah, it sucks, but where else can I play?". For years, they were right. Majestic was, for quite a few years lackluster, and seemed to be limping along in a forgotten corner of a forgotten casino. New management has come in and really turned things around. Top brass at this boat actually listens to what players want. I've never met a player here who was only there because they felt there was no other option. They play here because there are happy, competent dealers, decent rewards, good promos, amazing tournament structures, and doesn't come with all the ridiculousness of Horseshoe (Majestic allows food at the table, who would think that allowing food would set you apart from your competitors?).
It always had the potential to be a great room, and thanks to the new management, it's finally getting there.
