Motorcity Casino has a pretty good poker room, 12 tables with a second room for scheduled tournaments. They generally run tourneys at 730p a couple days a week and are maxed at 50 players. They are a guaranteed sellout and the line forms an hour early quickly. Buys in are different but range from 100-250 depending on the day. Good structure and above average dealers. They have a bad beat jackpot that regularly tops $200k quads vs quads and a secondary AK full that is usually around$25- $30k or less. Room is stock with food, pizza, hot dogs soda, sandwiches, fruits, coffee, candies. This is because there is no player comp during play. It's a solid exchange. Main games are 1-2 and 2-5. They run Omaha RxR but usually only get 1-2 tables. It's my best poker room in the city of Detroit IMO. Lots of action with loose players. Solid players can prey on the maniacs utilizing key spots but will as always get burned by some luck box. That's poker- play solid and you will succeed at this room more times that not.
